Mario Balotelli, the AC Milan forward has been racially abused once again.
He was racially abused by a group of men outside the national team’s training headquarters in Coverciano, Florence on Wednesday.
One of the team’s fans shouted out at Balotelli: “F***ing N****”.
The player remained calm throughout the incident. He only reportedly limited himself to telling team-mate Claudio Marchisio “I only ever get this in Rome or Florence.”
Local police were later called to disperse the supporters.
Italian Football Federation president Giancarlo Abete condemned the incident saying it was “unacceptable behaviour.”
He added that the player was racially abused by a minority who have no regard for civil coexistence.
Italy team-mate Ciro Immobile said: “In 2014 we shouldn’t have to deal with racism. We have to improve as a nation.
“Fortunately, Mario was very calm. We know how serious this is but we don’t want to further discuss this within the group.”
Balotelli has been the victim of racism on so many occasions.
He once said: “Racism is unacceptable to me, I cannot bear it.”
In an interview with the TIME magazine in 2012, Balotelli said there were few racists in Italy, referring to them as stupid people.
