German Pharmaceutical Company to Invest Millions in Kenya

If you wanted evidence that the Kenyan economy is still attractive for investment by multinationals then here it is.

Global German pharmaceutical giant Merck has opened an office in Kenya to tap into the country’s strategic position in Africa as it seeks grow its presence in the continent. To give you an idea of the scale of the German company’s operations, its total annual sales last year stood at over 1.2 trillion shillings and its current price per share is about 13,610 shillings.
